About the Role

Are you the kind of person who finds satisfaction in keeping operations running smoothly — where precision, timing, and organization make all the difference? Join **PDS Tech Commercial** , in partnership with a **world-class aircraft parts distributor** , as a **Shipping & Receiving Specialist** .

In this vital logistics role, you’ll ensure every shipment — from small components to critical aircraft parts — is verified, processed, and delivered accurately and safely. Your work will directly support the flow of materials that keeps the aerospace industry soaring.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

+ **Inspect & Verify:** Conduct initial inspections of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify identification, quantity, and check for damage.

+ **Process Shipments:** Prepare, process, and confirm shipping and receiving documentation for both internal and external customers.

+ **Handle Hazardous Materials:** Process and manage hazardous goods in compliance with DOT requirements, validating Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemical shipments.

+ **Inventory Management:** Track and maintain an organized inventory of shipping and packing supplies.

+ **Operate Equipment:** Safely use tools and equipment such as an **IR scan gun** , **pallet jack** , and potentially a **fork truck** to move and process materials efficiently.

+ **Collaborate Across Teams:** Partner with logistics, warehouse, and quality teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and on-time delivery.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to verify documentation and materials accurately.

+ Familiarity with handling hazardous materials and knowledge of DOT shipping requirements.

+ Experience using IR scan guns and basic warehouse equipment (pallet jack, fork truck, etc.).

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.

+ Ability to lift packages and materials as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience in the **aerospace** or **manufacturing** industry.

+ Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safe handling procedures.

+ Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

+ Comfort working with warehouse management or ERP systems.

**Pay Details:** $16.30 per hour
