    Overview

     

    We have an opening for an Associate Director, Digital Investment to manage the day-to-day digital planning and execution functions on Hulu. You will lead a team in the development, execution, and stewardship of media plans for Hulu Brand and Original Series. As the AD you effectively leverage your experience, knowledge, and skills to push fresh thinking while balancing client, agency, and team needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead all day-to-day aspects of digital planning and execution across multiple campaigns

    + Form and maintain strong client and vendor relationships

    + Guide the formulation of partner recommendations aligned with campaign strategy

    + Lead plan negotiations within digital marketplace

    + Develop innovative and creative media campaigns that drive awareness, watch intent and viewership

    + Manage the preparation of materials and lead the presentation of digital plan recommendations to clients

    + Responsible for overall accuracy and quality of internal and external deliverables

    + Lead by example assisting in all levels of the planning and activation process

    + Supervise, train, and develop skills of Assistants, Planners and Supervisors by managing workload, delegating responsibilities and checking work for accuracy

    + Provide job performance feedback to subordinates to manage career trajectory of the junior staff and make recommendations to management

    + Participate in the recruitment and selection of junior staff

    + Mentor and guide direct reports to ensure proper education for advancement

    + Effectively communicate across all levels and be willing to adopt new skills

    + Serve as a resource for others in resolution of complex problems/issues

    + Require minimal supervision, relying on your own experience/ judgment

    + Maintain detailed awareness of digital media landscape, trends, challenges, and competition

    Qualifications

    + B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field

    + 4+ years of media planning/digital activation experience

    + 2+ years of experience managing junior staff

    + Possess strong knowledge of digital media, with a drive for curiosity and passion for entertainment

    + Entertainment experience highly preferred

    + Ability to translate data into well-articulated and actionable ideas

    + Strong written and verbal skills, with ability to present to clients, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation

    + Excellent management, motivational, organizational, interpersonal, and quantitative/analytical skills

    + Detail-oriented and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    + Demonstrated ability to learn new propriety software and processes quickly and proficiently

    + Understanding of Activation/Negotiation team functions

    + Proficient with Prisma, Microsoft/Google suite, 3 rd party digital trafficking/verification/research platforms (comScore, DoubleVerify, Campaign Manager, etc.)

    Compensation Range: $95,950 - $125,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
