Summary

Job Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification.
Performs basic clerical duties to include maintaining logs, making copies, scanning documents, assembling materials and preparing labels for mailings, and entering basic data into a computer. Operates fax machine, copier, scanner and computer.
Assists collection division in printing, organizing and mailing bills and invoices.
Assists collection division in sorting mail and posting payments to customer records.
Assists collection division in organizing, and updating files and binders maintained for lien statements and customer records.
Assists collection division in validating customer data against property appraiser website and making corrections to customer database.
Assists accounting divisions in preparing spreadsheets and summarizing data for account analyses and schedules.
Assists accounting division in collating, organizing and making copies of information requested by internal and external auditors, other departments and the public.
Create and posts recurring journal entries and maintains journal ledgers, create spreadsheets, and other records. Runs required reports to summarize, track, verify, reconcile and balance data.
Assists procurement divisions in conducting, consolidating and analyzing research projects utilizing web.
Assists procurement division in contacting other agencies and institutes such as NIGP, universities and suppliers.
Assists procurement division in compiling and distributing documents in advance of procurement meetings, and attend such meetings as needed.
Assists procurement divisions in reviewing templates and recommend revisions.
Performs other related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Students currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or doctorate degree are encouraged to apply. Preferred courses of study include accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, management, political science and public administration.
Applicants should be self-motivated and be able to multitask and work independently; they should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
