             Business Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: The CACI team is looking to add a Business Analyst to their growing software development contract with the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA. You will be an integral part of the Agile team working directly with the product owners, stakeholders, and Scrum Master to write technical requirements into business language to create custom applications. The program emphasizes innovation and looks for individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex problems, both technical and procedural. This is primarily an onsite position as you will need to be on-site 4 days a week to support your project team. This project is part of a significant strategic growth plan centered on human capital systems and other business systems lines of business in CACI. Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to: + Serve as the focal point for the capture, analysis, and management of functional and non-functional systems requirements, and user stories. + Show a skill in effective decomposition of mission/business objectives into requirements contained within a product backlog which can then be implemented in a series of short and iterative development cycles. + Meet regularly with stakeholders to identify business needs. + Clearly communicate those business needs to a development team through user stories and acceptance criteria. + Work closely with the ScrumMaster to establish Release/Sprint backlogs, resolve impediments, and provide direction on scope of work to be accomplished. + Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the product development team during the development cycle to ensure the customer needs are being met. + Help to develop product roadmaps and participate in Integrated Release Planning + Assist in reviewing and evaluating work done by development team to ensure proper scope has been met. + Help with the demonstrations to stakeholder and report on the results of each soft ware iteration. + The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse Qualifications: _Required:_ + Active Secret Clearance + 5+ years of experience as a business analyst on iterative software development projects. + BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. + Strong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) + Experience performing requirements analysis using Agile methodologies. + Possess both an understanding of real-world mission/business objectives and a working grasp of software development practices and technologies. + The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse team. + A willingness to learn and stay well-informed of industry trends. _Desired:_ + Certified Product Owner + Software development background + Certified Business Analysis Professional - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
