We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure cloud services with a focus on data engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives + Build and optimize data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics + Implement ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from multiple sources into our data platform + Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and documentation + Optimize query performance and data storage solutions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness + Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements + Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability + Maintain security and compliance standards across all data platforms + Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues and performance bottlenecks + Stay current with Azure platform updates and emerging data engineering best practices Required Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field + Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform + Minimum 5 years of experience building data pipelines with Azure Data Factory + Minimum 5 years of experience working with Azure Synapse Analytics + Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying + Experience with data modeling and dimensional design principles + Knowledge of data integration patterns and ETL/ELT best practices + Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance requirements Preferred Qualifications: + Azure certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) + Experience with other Azure services (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Event Hubs, etc.) + Proficiency in Python or another programming language for data engineering + Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines + Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) + Knowledge of big data technologies and distributed computing concepts + Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies Skills and Competencies: + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities + Excellent communication and collaboration skills + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities + Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and accuracy + Proactive approach to learning new technologies and tools Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy The company is an equal opportunity employer.
