JOB SUMMARY The **FLEX** **Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications,** is a key member of the Business Transformation Office (BTO) team reporting directly to the Director, Business Transformation Office, US and Canada. The primary focus of the BTO over the next few years is designing and delivering the Digital and Technical Transformation (D+TT), a multi-year effort to transform Marriott’s technology and business process ecosystem, enabling Marriott to deliver on our vision to become the world’s favorite travel company. The BTO was established to enable and accelerate these changes through unique approaches to strategic planning, program management, change management, experience and usbusiness process design, continent coordination, and deployment. The FLEX Senior Manager, Change Management and Communications, will partner with the Director, Change Management + Communications to create and execute change management and communications activities in the U.S. and Canada in support of D+TT. This role will partner closely with colleagues throughout the entire D+TT Program – including (but not limited to) Global Change Management, Communications, Deployment, Associate Experience, Learning, and U.S. and Canada stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, a proven ability to manage multiple work efforts at the same time, as well as a willingness to deliver on difficult and time-sensitive requests. Key responsibilities include: Change Management Plan and Execution: • Partners with the Director and global Change Management team to gather and assess change impacts for U.S. and Canada stakeholders. • Partners with the Director and global Change Management team to create and execute a comprehensive change management plan for impacted U.S. and Canada stakeholders, working closely with continent, Deployment, Learning and other teams to meet defined success measures. • Develops and distributes required change and deployment deliverables (e.g., presentations, job aids, communications, etc.). • Partner with global Change Management and Communications team to develop and deliver communications and engagement activites for the End User Council. Stakeholder Engagement and Communications: • Partners with the Director and global Change Management and Communications teams to co-create and execute effective communications to various U.S. and Canada stakeholders via a variety of mediums, including targeted emails, webinars, online content, presentations, etc. • Plans, facilitates, and co-creates content for live webinars and office hours in partnership with BTO team and continent experts. • Supports the intake of topics and facilitate regular updates to the communications plan • Partners with the Director and global Change Management and Communications teams to create content for and execute continent-wide conferences, key meetings, and planning forums to ensure effective collaboration, strategic alignment, and understanding across our regions. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • 4-year degree from an accredited university; master’s degree strongly preferred, AND • 6 years of relevant professional experience in related function that is writing intensive (employee or operations communications, change management, etc.), demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance. • Prior operations or topline discipline experience a plus. • Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills • Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Experience developing clear, concise, and logically written business communications • Ability to gain a clear understanding of an initiative and represent it to various constituencies across the organization • Ability to work effectively in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment • Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization • Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups • Ability to inspire confidence in senior management and to be recognized for stakeholder engagement, change management and deployment leadership • Ability to be detailed oriented, while maintaining alignment with broader organization objectives • Ability to juggle multiple projects and many stakeholders • Basic project management skills • Ability to complete deliverables with high quality and up to established standards • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams applications; experience with Smartsheet is preferred to streamline project management and collaboration; experience with email distribution tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus _At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
