    Eaton’s corporate team is seeking an Eaton Business System (EBS) Learning Program Manager. This position can be based remotely within the US, and relocation assistance is not available. Travel is expected to be around 25% on average.​

     

    The expected annual salary range for this role is $158249.97 - $232099.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

    What you’ll do:

    You will drive manufacturing excellence and performance improvement throughout Eaton Corporation by utilizing the Eaton Business System (EBS). You will support the development, enhancement, and deployment of the Operational Assessment (OpA) process to promote excellence in operational units and functions worldwide. Additionally, you will develop innovative EBS training programs focused on global manufacturing excellence. As the primary point of contact, you will provide direction on operations best practices to employees at all levels, across all businesses and regions within Eaton.

     

    You will collaborate with senior functional leaders—including those from acquired businesses—to ensure easy access to and adoption of proven, effective practices and processes that advance Eaton’s continuous improvement journey. By educating hundreds of managers, functional professionals, senior leaders, and executives annually, you will serve as a highly visible ambassador of EBS globally and act as an “in-person” representative of Eaton’s most senior leadership.

     

    You will also provide back-up support for the administration and management of the EBS Assessment process. In addition, you will manage the Pune-based learning and instructional design support team, which currently consists of two resources.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Drive continuous improvement by deploying and executing the Eaton Business System (EBS) through innovative, results-driven learning programs.

    • Educate and guide Eaton professionals, managers, senior leaders, and executives on the EBS Assessment and Operational Assessment (OpA) process; serve as an EBS Mentor and OpA Assessor.

    • Effectively tailor EBS concepts to meet the local needs of Eaton businesses using robust learning programs and resources, deploying EBS globally to drive manufacturing and business excellence.

    • Partner with the EBS Executive Governance Council and EBS Process Owners to review and update EBS and OpA Maturity Roadmaps; develop success measures for each element/process; and create tools and playbooks to foster maturity across the enterprise.

    • Develop and deliver OpA criteria and process training to build a skilled, effective, and calibrated group of Eaton functional subject matter experts to serve as OpA assessors; support EBS education activities and initiatives related to OpAs.

    • Participate in the recruitment, selection, training, assessment, recognition, and retention of EBS Elements to ensure the robustness of all EBS tools, processes, and systems.

    • Lead the collection, review, and communication of Eaton’s transferable practices captured via EBS and OpA assessments and maturity roadmaps, ensuring full integration into the continuous improvement process of the EBS.

    • Develop a strategy for an Enterprise Best Practices approach, enabling all Eaton businesses to contribute, share, and implement best practices; coordinate with functional and business leaders and content providers for broad communication.

    • Create, develop, and deploy an EBS training strategy specifically for Managers of People (MOPs), ensuring they are familiar with EBS’s foundational elements and principles, and identify flexible, impactful solutions for Eaton’s global workforce.

    • Serve as the Program Leader for the global immersive AscendX Plant Manager Development Program and ensure key program performance results are yielding expected organizational benefits as designed.

    • Serve as the EBS Program office lead for the Corporate CI Award program, including attending monthly sessions, managing the nomination process for EBS Office CI projects for the program, and deploying training and communication as needed.

    • Advance the Eaton Business System through internal and external benchmarking.

    Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

    • Minimum 5 years of global ownership experience within a multinational organization

    • Minimum 3 years of direct people management experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Minimum 10 years of professional experience

    • Experience directly within a plant/factory helpful

    • Minimum 5 years of experience leading Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or related projects

    • PMP/Six Sigma certifications and Program Management experience a plus

    • Instructional design experience a plus

    Skills:

    • Comfortable communicating with and influencing leaders at all levels of an organization within the manufacturing industry.

    • Strategic mindset with the ability to influence without authority.

    • Sufficient management presence, polish, and credibility to effectively communicate new concepts and influence senior Sector/Division management.

    • Demonstrated management expertise and presence to establish credibility and effectively direct members of the extended Senior Leadership teams toward world-class performance company-wide.

    • Experience leading and driving organizational and cultural changes across a global enterprise.
