The Manager, Retail Merchandising Operations is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques retail business. This person will focus on key operational functions such as digital platform updates, managing vendor data, executing promotions and launches, integrating vendors and supporting logistics. They will be responsible for ensuring our product listings are kept current across all channels and that our platform is operating as intended. The Merchandising Operations function within an ecommerce team is essential, as it sits at the cross-section of executing merchandising, marketing and technical strategies. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing division within Marriott and to gain first-hand experience scaling a retail operation. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience Required • 4-year degree from an accredited university • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in retail merchandising operations, buying, or digital marketing operations, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance. • Strong project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to coordinate across multi-functional project teams to drive concrete results and actions. • Excellent attention to detail, including managing datasets in Excel with precise requirements. • Demonstrable experience managing digital operations in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle multiple projects at once. Preferred • Experience with various ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Squarespace, Netsuite, Salesforce Commerce Cloud. • Experience with interfacing with vendors or customers to solve challenges. • Ecommerce experience, with specific preference to home and lifestyle industries. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES • Supports the marketing and merchandising strategy by executing digital operational requirements. • Coordinates with Marriott technical teams, merchandising, channels, and logistic teams on product deployment and distribution. • Integrates new vendors into the platform, coordinating various stakeholders and deadlines. • Supports the team with frontline troubleshooting, including rapid response to inquiries from Customer Support, Engineering and Operations. • Tests product launches and validates data. • Engages brand teams to produce seamless product launches. • Leverages knowledge of the products and business to maintain accuracy. • Contributes to various initiatives where needed _At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
