    JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

     

    DUTIES: Design Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), develop shippable code, documentation, and unit test new features for digital products. Work with fellow API Developers, Team Leads, Architects to deliver features through the creation of re-usable RESTful APIs. Perform front end design, development and integration. Collaborate with Quality, Product and Cloud Engineering teams to keep digital assets fully functional, secure, and up to date with business needs. Perform pair programming, effectively communicate ideas with the team, assist in systems integration, performance testing and product releases. Implement policies, roles, data access controls, monitor events, resolve system and data issues for continuous functioning of APIs. Mentor junior developers through work product review, help with design, development tools and development best practices. Responsible for developing and deploying solutions in cloud platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS), GCP, or Azure; develop micro-services, CI/CD solution, message queue systems and background task management. Develop NoSQL and SQL databases, design data models, query data for quality, analysis, analytics and adhoc reporting.

     

    REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include:

     

    6 years in the following: Java, Node.js, JavaScript and Python;

    3 years in the following: Restful APIs using Spring Boot; AWS or GCP or Azure; developing NoSQL and SQL databases; working with API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT and OpenAPI.
