What You'll Do
As a National Practice Leader, you'll provide overall sales support, education, and solutions to the field and our distribution partners promoting Voluntary Benefit sales. The successful efforts of this individual will identify new, strategic opportunities to uncover additional revenue streams, while also growing the pipeline of new opportunities and generating growth.
Here's some examples of the kinds of things you’ll do:
+ Provide coaching and development to sales leaders and sales reps to drive Voluntary Benefits sales.
+ Develop and execute a national growth strategy for voluntary benefits aligned with overall Employee Benefits goals. Partner with home office in developing Voluntary Benefits strategy, driving premium & fee growth in-line with risk appetite.
+ Hire, coach, and develop talent.
+ Partner with regional sales teams to expand market share and increase voluntary benefits penetration across new and existing clients. Create go-to-market campaigns with marketing, leveraging data to target high-opportunity segments. Engage in key prospect and client meetings as the subject matter expert (SME) to support sales success.
+ Build and maintain executive-level relationships with top distribution partners, enrollment firms, and technology partners.
+ Partner with the account management team to retain profitable business, secure cross-purchase opportunities, and deliver appropriate partnered solutions to deepen relationships with our customers.

Who You Are
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, and 5 years related sales experience
+ Must have a broad knowledge of sales techniques, as well as regulations governing insurance
+ Must have appropriate Life & Health licensing
+ Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, presentation and verbal and written communication skills required
+ Must have leadership skills as well as time management and decision-making skills
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
+ Travel required (up to 50% of time) including overnight stays
Salary Range Information
This position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary combined with incentive earnings. The base salary will provide financial stability, while the incentive component offers additional earning potential based on performance metrics.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)
$115000 - $115000 / year
Time Off Program
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
