Position Type: SRT- Seasonal - 12 week contract

Position Summary

+ Performs all mammogram procedures offered by the hospital.

+ Assists with breast localization procedures. Provides in-service for co-workers in area of expertise.

+ Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Education/Other Qualifications

+ Must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in radiologic technology.

+ Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or if newly registry-eligible with (ARRT) shall obtain registry within 90 days of hire

+ The position involves moving equipment and patients.

+ Position requires good communication with patients, physicians, co-workers and the public.

+ Independent decisions as how to provide optimally diagnostic studies is required.

+ The person should have mechanical ability and good mobility.

+ Must have current BLS certification
