Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5 PM

Reports To: Manager of RCS Payer Enrollment
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Enrollment Credentialing Coordinator to lead, coordinate, and manage the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for physicians, advanced clinical professionals, and practitioner support staff. This role ensures compliance with Novant Health Credentialing Council standards, affiliated entities’ Medical Staff Bylaws, regulatory agency requirements, and applicable State and Federal laws.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and manage the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers and support staff.
+ Ensure all credentialing applications comply with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
+ Provide guidance and support to practitioners and practice managers throughout the application process to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
+ Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Manager of RCS Payer Enrollment regarding the progress of all applications.
+ Monitor credentialing timelines and escalate issues as necessary to meet deadlines.
+ Maintain accurate and organized documentation in credentialing databases and systems.
What We're Looking For
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of two years physician office or business office experience, required. Knowledge of provider enrollment application process for credentialing in a Managed Care, Medical Staff Services or Healthcare environment; required.
+ Licensure/Certification: CRCR – Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification by the Healthcare Financial Management Association, preferred.
+ Additional Skills Required:
+ Ability to efficiently handle designated responsibilities independently in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Ability to positively interact with physicians, hospital personnel, team members, and guests both in the office and on the phone. Working knowledge of personal computers and software, including credentialing database (ECHO), Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and other Windows environment programs.
+ Ability to work in an electronic environment and meet multiple deadlines.
+ Ability to be flexible, multi-task, and function in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions.
+ Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and effective in difficult situations. Must be able to follow instructions and policies and learn these appropriately.
+ Ability to be a team player and take initiative.
+ Ability to appropriately adhere to all of the Novant Service Standards.
+ Ability to travel/drive to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
