What We Offer

+ Schedule : 11pm-11am, Nightshift, Full-time, Weekends

+ Department : Inpatient Adult Psych - Behavioral Health

+ Location : Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem , North Carolina

+ The Psychiatric Tech is responsible for assisting with care of psychiatric patients from young adults up the age continuum through geriatrics under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

+ Previous experience in inpatient behavioral health with adults is highly recommended.

What We're Looking For

+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

+ Experience: One year, preferred.

+ Licensure/Certification: NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. CNAI in NC, preferred.

+ Additional Skills (preferred): Ability to perform all MOAB physical holds. Ability to care for Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse age specific patients within facility.
