Our Emergency Department is a 16-bed unit that specializes in providing immediate medical care for patients with severe or urgent illnesses or injuries. It is equipped to handle a wide range of services, including initial assessment, treatment, stabilization, emergencies, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions and potentially admission to the hospital. Our preferred patient ratio is 4:1.

Responsibilities
Works under the direct supervision of the Emergency Department Clinical Coordinator or the RN designee and will perform the following:
+ A variety of basic patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
+ Responsible for completing a variety of department specific tasks to assist with optimal department safety and functioning.
Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
+ Experience: Prefer at least one year Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence. Performs other duties as assigned.Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications.
+ Licensure/Certification: CNA I is required
