Your role and responsibilities
Job Summary:
We seek a detail-oriented, collaborative professional to join our FedRAMP team as a Documentation & Coordination Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and updating essential documents related to FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring and Change Management processes, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP standards.
Responsibilities:
* Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date records of continuous monitoring controls, metrics, baselines, and procedures in alignment with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP requirements.
* Change Management Documentation: Oversee the creation, review, and maintenance of change assessment documents, approvals, implementation plans, and post-implementation reviews.
* Communication Coordination: Facilitate regular communication between Continuous Monitoring and Change Management teams, ensuring alignment on processes, risks, and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with other departments (IT, Security, Compliance) to gather input, disseminate information, and promote interdepartmental collaboration in FedRAMP-related activities.
* Reporting & Analytics: Generate reports on monitoring effectiveness, change impact analysis, and overall FedRAMP compliance status for senior management and audit purposes.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize documentation processes, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency in FedRAMP-related activities.
Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding FedRAMP documentation and coordination matters
Required technical and professional expertise
1. Strong knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and other relevant federal security standards.
2. Proficiency in documentation management and process improvement.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
4. Familiarity with document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
6. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
7. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).
8. Experience in an IT/cybersecurity environment (3+ years) with a focus on documentation management or process improvement.
Preferred technical and professional experience
