Job Description:

+ The client is seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Demo Engineers to join the Extended Reality (XR) team. This team supports the creation, setup, and delivery of high-profile demos for client’s immersive technology ecosystem—ranging from advanced VR headsets to lightweight AR glasses.

+ In this role, you’ll be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting demo devices and software environments used to showcase client’s next-generation Extended Reality (XR) experiences to internal and external stakeholders, including executive-level audiences.

+ Travel up to 50% of the time to domestic and international locations, often on short notice.

Overall Responsibilities:

+ Configure, support, and troubleshoot Extended Reality (XR) demo devices across various form factors (VR, AR, MR).

+ Perform Android device operations, including flashing builds, sideloading apps, running ADB commands, and maintaining up-to-date software.

+ Conduct QA and validation testing to ensure demo devices are stable and presentation ready.

+ Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to identify, document, and resolve technical issues.

+ Maintain detailed, step-by-step technical documentation for device provisioning and troubleshooting workflows.

+ Ensure devices are properly QA’d, embedded, and version-controlled ahead of demos.

+ Support live demo sessions by providing on-the-spot troubleshooting and technical assistance.

+ Coordinate logistics and setup for demos held at client campuses and major industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

Required Experience (Mandatory):

+ 3–10 years of hands-on experience in Android device engineering, testing, or QA.

+ Strong knowledge of Android operating systems, ADB, debugging, and build flashing.

+ Proven experience in device configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

+ Ability to work independently during demos while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.

+ Strong organizational and documentation skills.

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal guidance.

+ Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently and manage short-notice assignments.

Desired Experience (Nice to have):

+ Experience with XR/AR/VR hardware (e.g., Oculus, Meta, Ray-Ban, Microsoft HoloLens, or similar).

+ Background in QA testing or device field support for consumer electronics.

+ Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting for automation or QA tasks.

+ Exposure to tools such as Buganizer or Screen Copy.

+ Prior experience supporting executive-level or high-visibility demos.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience:
