About the Team The Systems Engineering team at Nutanix is a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that empower businesses to transform their IT infrastructure. This role will be aligned at times to two Sales Reps. You will report to the Manager, Systems Engineer, who is known for a supportive and empowering leadership style that fosters professional growth and encourages open communication. The role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work environment, while occasional in-office collaboration may be required. This position requires up to 25% travel, allowing you to engage directly with clients and stakeholders and the territory is New Mexico, Arizona and Nevada. Travel may include visits to customer sites for proof of concept demonstrations and building long-term relationships with clients, ensuring you have a robust understanding of their needs and challenges. Your Role + Demonstrate and articulate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions to influence customer purchasing decisions. + Size, configure, and present tailored Nutanix solutions to meet customer needs and drive business transformation. + Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, positioning as a trusted resource for technical solutions. + Gather and communicate customer feedback to enhance Nutanix offerings and drive product improvements. + Collaborate with sales representatives to develop strategic account plans and effective solution proposals. + Lead technical presales initiatives to secure wins and ensure successful deployment of Nutanix solutions. + Manage multiple projects effectively, assessing urgency and implementing detailed action plans for timely execution. + Perform hands-on technical tasks, including executing proofs of concept, while adhering to safety protocols. What You Will Bring + 3+ years in a technical role with a focus on technology solutions and stakeholder engagement + Familiarity with virtualization, storage, and/or data centers + Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience + Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands + Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and strategy development + Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal + Experience managing multiple projects with detailed action plan execution Work Arrangement Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 165,600 and USD $ 248,400 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
