Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Technical Resources Department, responsibilities of the Secretary IV include but not limited to the following:
1. Perform clerical functions and provide support within the Director's Office
2. Provide support in maintaining the Director's calendar, schedule meetings and appointments
3. Schedule the production of large volumes of documents and reports
4. Support Special Technical Resources Initiatives
5. Participate in a Project Team; specific areas to include:
a. LL152 Gas Piping Inspection administration work
b. NYCHA Generator Administrative Support
c. Roofing QA Inspection Support
6. Serve as a backup timekeeper
7. Perform other related duties as needed.
Note: Due to the existence of a civil service list, candidates must have permanent civil service status in the title of Secretary or Clerical Associate to be considered.

Qualifications
A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization?
Skills Requirement: You will be required to meet the typing skills requirement by demonstrating the ability to type accurately on a personal computer at a minimum speed of 35 words per minute after errors are deducted. You must meet this requirement in order to be appointed.
