Description:
Chairside Dental Assistant Assists dentist performing dental procedures; sets-up procedure equipment and materials; breakdown, cleans and reassembles exam rooms; exposes intraoral and extraoral radiographs; takes and pours intraoral models; tracks laboratory cases; processes dental instruments; maintains equipment. Makes temporary crowns, performs teeth whitening and prepares custom bleach, radiation and fluoride trays and sleep apnea appliances.
Procedure set up with materials and equipment and then room breakdown and disinfection.
Exposing intraoral and extraoral radiographs, FMX, PANs, PAs.
Taking and pouring patient oral models.
Clinical support duties: tracking laboratory cases, processing instruments and maintaining dental equipment, patient calls and other assigned duties.
Assisting the dentist with patient treatment procedures.
Independently makes temporary crowns, performs teeth whitening and prepares custom bleach, radiation and fluoride trays and sleep apnea appliances.
**Position Requirements** :
Minimum Education:
**Required:** High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
**Preferred:** Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college
Minimum Experience:
**Required:** 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Required:
CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)

Compensation:
Pay Range: $19.07 - $29.55 per hour
_Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles._
