Position Purpose:
St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Grill Cook to join our Food and Nutrition team!!
What You Will Do:
+ The line cook works in the kitchen of a hospital to prepare and cook meals for each patient.
+ Responsibilities as a hospital chef include planning a daily menu that includes options for special dietary restrictions.
+ Prepares breakfast, lunch, and dinner for admitted patients.
+ Prepares food according to daily menu and production sheets, including salads, sandwiches and desserts.
+ Assists in dish room, follow proper ware washing procedures.
+ Adheres to food service handlers’ regulations by wearing clean uniforms, gloves and hat/hairnets while working with food and food equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
+ HS diploma or equivalency (Required)
+ 1 year experience (minimum)
+ 2-4 years experience (preferred)
