Description:
The primary purpose of your job position is to be responsible for providing and assisting participants with activities of
daily living, restorative, and supportive care. The Medical Assistant will assist in monitoring and reporting the health
status and providing a safe environment for the participants.
Position Purpose:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for delivering restorative and supportive care to participants, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting clinical operations. This role ensures a safe, warm, and collaborative environment while monitoring and reporting participant health status.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Demonstrate and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of Trinity Health PACE.
+ Provide direct care and ADL assistance to participants in accordance with established policies.
+ Support providers during exams and treatments to facilitate clinic flow.
+ Perform clinical tasks including triage, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, lab specimen collection, and CLIA-waived testing.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of services and participant needs.
+ Ensure infection control standards and perform routine quality checks.
+ Manage medical supplies and assist with front office duties including check-in and phone support.
+ Participate in required training and uphold compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards.
+ Respond appropriately during disaster recovery or business continuity scenarios.
+ Clinic Bases and may require some Home Visits
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
+ Medical Assistant certification required.
+ Minimum one year of experience with frail or elderly populations, or willingness to complete training upon hire.
+ Experience in long-term care or geriatric community programs preferred.

Pay Range: $18.30/hr-$21.96/hr
