Fargo Elim, a Cassia Community, is hiring a Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team!   You’ll build meaningful connections while working alongside our dedicated clinical team in a welcoming environment where your contributions are truly valued.

As a Nurse (RN or LPN) at Fargo Elim, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our ideal candidate will be a skilled and dependable Nurse who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults.

Position Type: Full- Time

Available Shifts: Nights

6:30 pm to 7:00 am

RN Charge Nurse Responsibilities:

+ Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

+ Function as a team member with other staff in performance of duties.

+ Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.

+ Administer medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.

+ Implement individual plan of care for residents and monitor staff providing care.

+ Notify nurse manager, attending physician, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow up action as necessary.

+ Order lab, x-ray, ambulance, and other services as necessary.

+ Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician's orders.

+ Participate in direct resident care as needed.

+ Admit, transfer, and discharge residents according to procedures.

+ Monitor nursing personnel on duty during the assigned shift.

+ Perform additional tasks as requested.

RN, Charge Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

+ Current ND Registered Nurse (RN) License required.

+ Must have strong nursing and leadership skills.

+ Strong critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions.

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Takes pride in delivering quality outcomes and services to our residents.

Nurse (RN or LPN) responsibilities:

+ Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.

+ Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.

+ Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.

+ Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.

+ Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.

+ Performs additional duties as required.

Nurse (RN or LPN) Qualifications:

+ Current RN or LPN license in North Dakota is required.

+ Prior TCU experience a plus.

+ IV certified or in a current course.

+ Must have strong communication and organizational skills.

+ Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
