Job Summary

Join our dedicated rehabilitation team and make a meaningful impact in patient care. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will perform a wide range of evaluations and therapeutic procedures to support patients with speech, language, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, compassionate care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

Education & Licensure

+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Speech and Hearing Science from an accredited institution

+ Active North Carolina state license in Speech-Language Pathology

+ BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Experience

+ Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in speech therapy

+ NICU experience preferred

Clinical Skills

+ Strong knowledge of speech and swallowing terminology, procedures, and techniques

+ Skilled in bedside swallow evaluations and treatment

+ Required for full-time/part-time staff:

+ Competency in Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) within 5 months of hire

+ Competency in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) within 18 months of hire

+ PRN staff: MBSS and FEES experience preferred
