    Currently, we are seeking a Cloud Engineer - CISPOINT to join our Team! This position will work with COMSO’s Managed Security Service Provider, CISPOINT.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION LOCATED IN COLUMBIA, MD

    + Architect and implement Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions in Microsoft Cloud environments.

    + Set up and manage secure enclaves within Azure, ensuring robust isolation and security.

    + Support and maintain Microsoft GCC High environments for federal workloads.

    + Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to align infrastructure with federal standards.

    + Automate cloud provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

    + Monitor cloud performance, security posture, and cost efficiency.

    + Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and compliance audits.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including GCC High.

    + Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security and best practices.

    + Experience deploying and managing VDIs in enterprise or government environments.

    + Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates).

    + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience designing and deploying CMMC-compliant cloud environments.

    + Familiarity with CMMC Level 2/3 requirements and enclave architecture.

    + Prior involvement in projects requiring GCC High for CMMC compliance.

    + Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Security Engineer, or CMMC Assessor/Practitioner.

    + Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-171, and other federal compliance frameworks.

    + Experience supporting DoD or federal agency cloud initiatives

    + Driving record will be checked.

     

    On Target Earning: $80,000 - $115,000

Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, candidate’s scope of relevant work experience, educational background, certifications, contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and alignment with local market data.
