What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.

+ Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises as part of access control procedures.

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific security-related protocols and policies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual or suspicious activity.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.

+ Support emergency response activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and/or visitors to address questions regarding security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
