As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Your visible presence and attentive monitoring will contribute to a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. You will engage with people in a professional and approachable manner, supporting access control and other security-related tasks. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by executing security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding as needed to emergency situations.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report any suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor conditions in areas where chemicals and petrochemical products are present, remaining alert to hazards and reporting any concerns.

+ Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate records per site requirements.

+ Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to help to deter disruptions and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
