As a **Security Officer - Logistics Access Control** in **Franklin, KY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming and professional presence. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to support a positive environment, and offering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response protocols when required.

+ Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and authorizations of individuals entering and exiting the premises.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.

+ Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Communicate professionally with visitors, contractors, and employees while upholding site-specific security-related standards and expectations.

+ Collaborate with team members and site management to address and report any security-related concerns or potential risks at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
