What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and maintain a visible presence.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe activities and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.

+ Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and vendors, verifying identification as required by site policies.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

+ Provide information and assistance to the public, tenants, and/or employees as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
