What You'll Do:

+ Provide high-visibility armed security-related patrols throughout the location, including both the interior retail floor and the exterior perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.

+ Offer customer service to patrons, staff, and visitors by addressing inquiries and providing guidance as needed.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as appropriate.

+ Enforce site-specific policies and procedures to support a secure environment for employees and visitors.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required.

+ Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuation and/or lockdown procedures, as directed.

+ Complete regular incident and activity reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must possess an active armed guard card or license.

+ A valid firearms permit is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
