What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible presence.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Work closely with location management and staff to support security-related needs and maintain a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ This position is primarily a driving post and prior experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
