As a **Security Officer – Hospital Unarmed Patrol Support** in **Monroeville, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Observe for and report irregularities such as security breaches, facility hazards, and emergency situations.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed and assist in guiding people during drills and real emergencies.

+ Complete required logs and reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client standards.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Applicants must be able to receive all required hospital vaccines as a condition of assignment.

+ Applicants must be able to work in hospital morgue environments and/or settings where deceased individuals may be present.

+ Applicants must be able to physically restrain individuals in a hospital environment as part of security-related duties.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
