As a **Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol** in **Polkton, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence throughout government-operated locations. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities, as you monitor assigned areas, respond to incidents, and support our commitment to exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Monitor and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the government location.

+ Work collaboratively with site staff and/or law enforcement as necessary.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or security-related events.

+ Remain alert and attentive while observing assigned areas to help to deter potential security-related risks.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Applicants must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
