What You'll Do:

+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the utilities location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside and around the perimeter of the utilities facility, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location, assisting with access control and monitoring for any unusual activity.

+ Support emergency response activities as required, including communicating with law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed.

+ Document observations and incidents clearly and promptly in accordance with company and client procedures.

+ Remain alert to changes in the working environment and adapt patrol routines and actions as needed to address new or evolving circumstances.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Level III Armed Certification from the state of Texas is required.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
