As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for personnel and assets. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner appropriate to the manufacturing and industrial environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.

+ Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity during patrols and promptly communicate observations to the appropriate contacts.

+ Maintain awareness of site-specific hazards that may be present in a manufacturing and industrial location, following all protocols and guidelines.

+ Complete reports and documentation as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
