What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a financial institution setting.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to management and/or law enforcement as required.

+ Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats within the financial institution environment.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address site-specific requirements and concerns.

+ Complete required reports and documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.

+ Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or armed guard license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
