As a **Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist** in **Orange Park, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at this bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for guests and tenants. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, staying visible to support a secure atmosphere, and offering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to observe and report on activities, helping to deter unwanted behavior.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and management while maintaining a visible presence on site.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established procedures.

+ Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points, paying close attention to any unusual or suspicious activity.

+ Support emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal procedures and client-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
