As a **Security Professional - Education Campus Patrol** in **Philadelphia, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in an educational environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents and foster a secure setting for students, faculty, and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with the campus community. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.

+ Document and report security-related incidents or concerns according to established protocols.

+ Interact professionally with students, staff, and visitors, offering assistance and guidance as needed within the education environment.

+ Assist with access control and/or visitor management, ensuring only authorized individuals are present on the premises.

+ Remain alert to potential hazards or suspicious activity and promptly communicate findings to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Experience in access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Ability to ride a bike for extended periods of time is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
