What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with working environments and conditions varying by the site.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to personnel and visitors.

+ Monitor the premises for any suspicious activity or security-related hazards and report findings according to procedures.

+ Carry and responsibly handle a firearm as required for the armed patrol post, adhering to all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies.

+ Interact professionally with personnel, visitors, and the public while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

+ 3 years or more of prior law enforcement, military or adult corrections experience or a complete bachelors degree in Criminal Justice is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
