Job Description:
As our Construction Partner Overlay Channel Executive, every day you will support the Channel Executive in driving strategic engagement across a portfolio of VAR partners, focusing on operational execution, sales enablement, and partner development. It contributes to pricing and packaging strategy for the Construction vertical and helps identify and position relevant ISV solutions to enhance Sage’s joint value proposition. To thrive in this role, you will coordinate enablement activities, analyze partner performance, and ensure partners have the right tools and resources. This role plays a critical role in accelerating Sage's partner success in the Construction industry.
*This is a hybrid office role that requires 3 days in the office*
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Support
• Align with Channel Executive on joint goals and partner outcomes; support execution through operational and programmatic activities.
• Assist in light-touch business planning and partner segmentation strategies.
• Assist in evaluating and refining pricing and packaging strategies for Construction vertical offerings, based on partner feedback and market dynamics.
• Support the strategic approach to Construction-specific bundles and positioning to enhance partner competitiveness and customer value.
Sales & Opportunity Enablement
• Participate in partner sales engagements as needed to reinforce the joint value proposition and support deal progression.
• Support opportunity management processes, including quoting, product positioning, and deal registration.
• Support the Channel Executive with partner-led demand generation initiatives, including incentive programs and campaign execution.
• Assist Channel Executive in identifying and positioning relevant ISV (Independent Software Vendor) solutions that complement Sage Construction offerings.
Enablement & Program Execution
• Promote partner enablement sessions, onboarding, and readiness activities.
• Ensure partners are equipped with the latest messaging, tools, and training to represent Sage Construction solutions effectively.
• Act as a conduit between Sage’s internal construction teams and partners to ensure alignment on enablement priorities.
Reporting & Insights
• Contribute to partner business reviews with partner sales metrics for construction and align the certification status on all Construction solutions.
• Provide actionable insights to Channel Executives to inform strategic planning and partner engagement.
Qualifications:
• Over 5 years of experience carrying a sales quota in channel/partner management within the SaaS industry.
• Deep understanding of subscription-based cloud software business models.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
• Familiarity with accounting and CRM software, particularly the Sage product suite.
• Experience with enterprise software solutions and managing relationships in large, complex organizations.
• Comprehensive background in channel relationship management.
