About the Team The Brand and Creative Marketing team is home to some of the most culturally impactful work at DoorDash — from Super Bowl moments and celebrity partnerships to creator-led campaigns that shape how the world sees our brand. This role sits within the Talent & Influencer Marketing discipline — the connective tissue between culture, creativity, and commerce. Our mission is to make DoorDash synonymous with moments that matter by partnering with the people who move culture forward. From emerging internet creators to A-list celebrities, we build meaningful collaborations that feel real, relevant, and resonant. You’ll report to the Senior Manager of Talent & Influencer Marketing, working cross-functionally with Creative, Comms, Partnerships, Media, and Social to bring breakthrough, talent-led storytelling to life. About the Role We’re seeking a dynamic, well-connected, and creatively driven Associate Manager of Talent & Influencer Marketing to help define how DoorDash shows up through talent — from internet-native creators to household names. This isn’t a “plug and play” influencer role. It’s about taste, timing, and tenacity — knowing when to lead culture and when to ride the wave. The right person brings an active network and an innate ability to grow it — spanning creators, agents, managers, publicists, and entertainment ecosystems across categories. You know who’s emerging, who’s peaking, and who’s quietly shaping conversation. You’re just as comfortable DM’ing a TikTok phenom as you are negotiating with a celebrity rep or brainstorming with a creative director. You have the relational EQ to build genuine, lasting partnerships and the creative agility to spot, shape, and activate cultural opportunities before they even hit the mainstream. You see a meme, a moment, or a movement — and immediately imagine how DoorDash could belong in that story. You’ll thrive in this role if you’re a self-starter who doesn’t wait for playbooks — you write them. You move with intention and curiosity, comfortable operating in the gray space between structure and spontaneity. You understand that the best ideas often start as a gut feeling, and you have the operational discipline to bring them to life with polish. Above all, you have a “make it happen” mindset — resourceful, proactive, and solutions-oriented. When obstacles arise, you don’t freeze or wait for permission — you find creative ways through. You’re equal parts connector, curator, and creative problem solver — and you believe that great partnerships don’t just sell, they shift culture. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… + Partner with the Senior Manager to bring influencer and talent strategy to life across campaigns and timely cultural moments — from early brief input to final content delivery. + Leverage your own relationships across the talent ecosystem — creators, agents, managers, publicists — to identify and secure the right partners for our campaigns. + Take initiative to proactively source and pitch creator or celebrity opportunities that align with cultural moments, brand storytelling, or upcoming launches. + Lead day-to-day management of influencer and talent partnerships, ensuring creative excellence, operational precision, and cross-functional alignment. + Collaborate closely with Creative, Comms, Partnerships, Legal, Media, and Social teams to integrate talent and influencer strategy across channels. + Manage budgets, negotiate rates and usage, and track deliverables through production and launch. + Stay deeply plugged into cultural and creator trends — identifying emerging voices, memes, or movements where DoorDash can authentically participate. + Evaluate performance data and translate results into learnings and recommendations that strengthen future work. We’re excited about you because… + You have 5 years of experience in influencer marketing, talent relations, or culture-led brand partnerships ideally in a fast-paced consumer brand or agency setting. + You have the instincts of a creative and the discipline of a producer, comfortable brainstorming ideas one minute and managing contracts the next. + You thrive on initiative: you don’t wait for assignments; you seek out opportunities, connect dots, and bring ideas to life. + You’re solutions-oriented — calm under pressure, adaptive in fast-changing situations, and known for finding a way forward when others see blockers. + You have strong instincts for storytelling, a keen understanding of what’s culturally relevant, and the ability to execute with polish and precision. + You’re deeply curious, collaborative, and committed to raising the creative bar every single time. We expect this position to be filled by 12/29/2025.
