Postdoctoral Research Scientist & Clinical Psychologist - PTSD & Addiction Research Location: Rockville, MD | Full-Time Join a dynamic team advancing evidence-based treatment for addiction and PTSD. Maryland Treatment Centers (MTC) is seeking a full-time Research Scientist and Clinical Psychologist to support innovative addiction research within our Rockville treatment center. This role offers the chance to develop a research-oriented career in substance use disorder (SUD) and trauma treatment while working alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team. What You'll Do: * Coordinate a clinical trial for the treatment of PTSD taking place within a residential addiction treatment setting. * Provide direct clinical services (Written Exposure Therapy for PTSD) as a study therapist on the project. * Supervise research staff and assist with data collection and analysis. * Collaborate with senior researchers on publications, grant development, and new studies. * Mentor trainees and participate in extern supervision and teaching. What We're Looking For: * PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology (or related field). * Licensed or license-eligible in Maryland (supervision possible). * Interest or experience in addiction and trauma research preferred. * Masters-level clinicians with research curiosity encouraged to apply (e.g., LCPC, LCSW).
