Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Paralegal 2 in Durham, NC!
+ Pay: $28.53 per hour
+ Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
+ Location: Durham, NC
+ Temp to Hire
+ Weekly paycheck
Responsibilities
• Prepare all documents required for filing and prosecuting U.S., International, and foreign patent applications
• Filing documents in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, electronically and by certification procedures
• Independently prepare all correspondence during prosecution of patent applications for attorney review
• Assist with special projects and other assignments as requested by the attorneys and agents
• Provide back-up docketing support for docket database
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree and/or Paralegal Certification or equivalent significant experience in a related field
• 3 - 5 years experience and stable work history in relevant field is essential
• Experience with patent prosecution is a must
• Familiarity and experience with docket administration preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience and proficiency in MS Word and Excel required
• Excellent attention to details, analytical, detail-oriented, proactive
• Familiarity and experience with patent procurement, prosecution, maintenance and files
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Pay Details:** $28.53 per hour
