Temporary General Office Clerk - HR Department (3-4 Week Assignment)
**Pay:** $17-$19 per hour
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
**Location:** Rockingham, NC
Overview:
Olsten Staffing is seeking a proactive and outgoing **General Office Clerk** to support the **HR Department** of a busy manufacturing facility. This is a **3-4 week temporary assignment** ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and professionalism are key.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Manage large volumes of filing and organize employee documents
+ Assist HR staff during onsite job fairs and recruiting events
+ Answer phones and route calls professionally and efficiently
+ Provide front-line support to employees with general HR-related questions
+ Help maintain employee records and assist with administrative HR tasks
+ Support the HR team with additional clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in an office or HR support role preferred
+ Strong communication and customer service skills
+ Outgoing, friendly, and able to take initiative
+ Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
+ Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and HR setting
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Assignment Details:
+ Temporary assignment lasting **3-4 weeks**
+ Full-time hours Monday-Friday (8-5 or 7-4)
+ Pay range: **$17-$19 per hour** based on experience
**Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
