Adecco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Support professional to join our team. If you thrive on accuracy, compliance, and providing critical administrative support in a fast-paced global business environment, we encourage you to apply!
This position provides essential administrative and clerical assistance to our Trade Compliance and Logistics teams. You will be responsible for maintaining meticulous documentation, supporting daily import and export activities, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
+ Pay Rate: $20.48/hr
+ Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
+ Location: On site in La Porte, IN
Responsibilities:
+ Documentation Management: Organize, file, and maintain all import and export records in accordance with company policy and U.S. Customs regulations.
+ Compliance & Auditing: Conduct routine audits of shipping and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness; support the document retrieval process for internal and external audits.
+ Data Entry & Reporting: Prepare, update, and maintain data within Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access databases, along with other company systems.
+ Logistics Support: Assist with tracking shipments and maintaining shipment logs as needed.
+ Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, sales) to obtain necessary documentation and information required for compliance filings.
+ General Clerical Duties: Provide general clerical support, including data entry, scanning, and report preparation.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred.
+ 2+ years of clerical, administrative, or data management experience.
+ Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are mandatory.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Pay Details:** $20.48 per hour
