Verdantas is seeking a passionate **Senior Project Manager** to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary team in **Wilmington, DE** . The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to drive complex projects from concept through completion, keeping sustainability and conservation at the heart of every design. What You’ll Do:
+ Lead large-scale, complex projects and multiple concurrent initiatives
+ Oversee all phases of project execution—scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management
+ Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while aligning with client expectations and organizational goals
+ Proactively communicate with clients, executives, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain alignment
+ Conduct regular financial reviews, risk assessments, and resource planning to optimize project performance
+ Lead client meetings, strategic reviews, and business development efforts to grow accounts and secure new opportunities
+ Mentor junior project managers, fostering knowledge transfer and professional development
+ Drive continuous improvement by refining project management processes and implementing efficiency tools
+ Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards across all projects
What You’ll Bring:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
+ Minimum 15 years of experience in technical project execution, including a minimum of 8 years of dedicated project management experience
+ PE preferred
+ Project Management certification preferred
+ Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios with high financial and operational impact
+ Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
+ Demonstrated success in risk mitigation, resource optimization, and client satisfaction
+ Experience with lump-sum contracts, financial forecasting, and performance metrics (e.g., Net Labor Multiplier, WIP, AR)
+ Ability to lead strategic planning and align project outcomes with broader business goals
Salary Range:
The starting salary for this position is $135,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
