    Maintenance Technician

     

    About Us: Join our dynamic team where innovation meets excellence! We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to contribute to the success of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, maintenance, and service operations of our plant machinery, equipment, and facilities.

    Key Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

    + Perform mechanical operations to install, maintain, and repair die cast machines, melting furnaces, compressors, steel shot blast units, trim presses, machine tools, and other equipment.

    + Diagnose and correct difficulties encountered in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operations of equipment.

    + Install, adjust, repair, and replace electrical equipment and controls, including PLC equipment.

    + Inspect machines and equipment, preparing detailed reports following standard procedures.

    + Conduct welding (MIG, TIG, stick) as needed for fabrication.

    + Operate a forklift as required.

    + Maintain necessary records and reports.

    + Assist in wastewater management, including monitoring and spill cleanup, as needed.

    + Perform preventative maintenance and service operations throughout the plant, office, and ground areas.

    + Create and utilize a work order system, properly documenting actions and time.

    + Maintain a clean and orderly (5S) work area consistent with safety and work rules and regulations.

    + Work safely around and operate heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery.

    + Work overtime hours as required and be available for emergency overtime when needed.

    + Regularly report for work on time with a commitment to performing to the best of your abilities.

    + Participate in continuous improvement activities.

    + Collaborate with others in a team environment.

    + Exhibit the company's core values.

    + Demonstrate the ability to work in other classifications or departments as needed.

    + Communicate effectively with associates and between shifts on daily activities.

    + Communicate and exchange information on problem areas with supervisors and fellow coworkers.

    Job Specifications: To succeed in this role, you should:

    + Have knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing.

    + Preferably possess a high school diploma.

    + Possess basic computer skills.

    + Have experience in blueprint, schematic, and diagram reading for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

    + Certification, Education, and Work Experience:

    + Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

    + High School Diploma preferred.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Experience in blueprint, schematic, and diagram reading for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
