Position Summary The I-9 Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal employment eligibility verification requirements by managing the completion, auditing, and maintenance of Form I-9 documentation for all new hires and existing employees. This role serves as a subject matter expert on I-9 regulations and E-Verify processes, providing guidance to HR teams, hiring managers, and employees to ensure timely and accurate completion of employment eligibility forms. The I-9 Coordinator will monitor and track I-9 completion status, conduct regular audits, resolve discrepancies, and maintain secure and organized records in accordance with federal guidelines. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent required. + In-depth knowledge of Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements. + 2+ years of experience in HR, compliance, or a related administrative role. + Experience with electronic I-9 systems (e.g., Workday, Certiphi i9Success,) is a plus. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications + **Previous experience supporting immigration processes** , including handling employment eligibility verification (I-9), responding to immigration-related inquiries, and collaborating with background check vendors (e.g., Certiphi). + Excellent client service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. + Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team player. + Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. + Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes and administration. Education High school diploma or equivalent required Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $18.50 - $38.82 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
