Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at our manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA. This role is ideal for a driven professional looking to grow within a collaborative environment, supporting both sales and manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will lead mechanical design efforts, contribute to innovation, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and approve conceptual designs, detailed assemblies, and general arrangement 2D drawings and 3D models for fabrication.

+ Ensure all designs and drawings meet industry and customer standards.

+ Maintain project timelines by tracking progress, coordinating cross-functional activities, and resolving manufacturing challenges.

+ Lead design reviews and contribute innovative ideas for product development.

+ Research and recommend new technologies to enhance product offerings based on client feedback and vendor insights.

+ Collaborate with customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction from sale to delivery.

+ Provide troubleshooting support via phone, internet, or on-site visits as needed.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

+ Minimum of 7 years of machine design experience.

+ Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.

+ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

+ Solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication principles.

+ Experience in project management, including budgeting and resource planning.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

+ Willingness to travel locally to customer sites when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with food processing equipment.

+ Experience with Autodesk Vault.

+ Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
