We are seeking a highly professional Lead Medical Assistant with strong customer service skills to join our dynamic team. This role combines regular medical assistant duties with responsibilities in a lead capacity, providing support in scheduling, training, and acting as a key contact for the medical assistant team.
Responsibilities
+ Handle medical assistant duties on the floor in a lead capacity.
+ Support scheduling and training of medical assistant staff.
+ Serve as the go-to person for the medical assistant team.
+ Check patients in and room patients.
+ Enter patient data into the electronic medical records system.
+ Perform phlebotomy procedures and blood draws.
+ Coordinate with onsite providers and answer patient-related questions.
Essential Skills
+ 2 or more years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Strong phlebotomy skills.
+ Experience in a lead or supervisory role.
+ Excellent customer service capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing fertility clinic.
+ Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
+ Experience with electronic health records.
Work Environment
The position is based in a busy fertility clinic located in Manhattan. The team consists of 12 Medical Assistants and 4 providers, handling approximately 15 patients per provider daily. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with start times between 6-8 AM for an 8-hour shift. There may be a requirement to work 1-2 weekends per month on a rotating basis. The clinic promotes from within, providing opportunities for growth, and offers benefits through Actalent while on contract.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
