Position Overview
We are seeking a highly professional Lead Medical Assistant with exceptional customer service skills to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced fertility clinic. This role combines core medical assistant responsibilities with leadership duties, including scheduling, training, and serving as the primary point of contact for the medical assistant team.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform medical assistant duties on the floor in a lead capacity
+ Support scheduling and training of medical assistant staff
+ Serve as the go-to resource for the medical assistant team
+ Check patients in and room them for appointments
+ Enter patient data into the electronic medical records (EMR) system
+ Conduct phlebotomy procedures and blood draws
+ Coordinate with onsite providers and respond to patient-related inquiries
Required Skills & Experience
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
+ Strong phlebotomy skills
+ Experience in a lead or supervisory role
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Phlebotomy certification
+ Experience working in a fertility clinic or similar fast-paced healthcare setting
+ Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems
Work Environment
+ Based in a busy fertility clinic in Manhattan
+ Team includes 12 Medical Assistants and 4 Providers, with each provider seeing approximately 15 patients daily
+ Monday–Friday schedule, with start times between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM for an 8-hour shift
+ May require 1–2 weekends per month on a rotating basis

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
